There are 5 million Gypsies of Hungary, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia. These are a marginalised people, often discriminated against and live their lives on the edges of society. As a result they are hungry for God, and in real need of discipleship.
The Praxeis team is led by Gabriella Haidinger, a Hungarian based in Budapest. There are exciting developments taking place.
Our vision is that the gypsy nations to be reached and transformed by the gospel in Hungary and beyond in Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Serbia . The team in Hungary aims for a disciple making movement Already there are passionate young gypsy leaders being trained who have a heart for their own nation. These Gypsies are being trained to follow the Jesus model of disciple-making – with radical gospel sowing, harvest focussed discipleship, and multiplying communities of faith. They focus on the 5 core practices of passionate prayer, abundant gospel sowing, life on life discipleship, planting transformational communities and the viral multiplication of the gospel.
