West Melbourne

Melbourne’s west boasts a vast array of ethnicities and cultures, with significant populations from right across the 10-40 window. The area is also home to some of Victoria’s most long-standing and deep-rooted social challenges. Against this backdrop we believe that God is working and actively calling people to Himself, but many have limited opportunities to engage with Jesus. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few!

With a foundation of prayer, the Praxeis team in western Melbourne are engaging with the felt needs of the local community as they intentionally seek out those who are hungry and begin the discipleship journey with them, helping them form simple and reproducible discipleship communities (‘churches’) through which they can invite their family and friends to engage with Jesus – raising up workers from the harvest to reach the region, and the nations.

The second time we did a Discovery Bible Study (DBS), Rose’...Read More
